This landmark (due to its depth and scope of analyses) fifty page study applies Corpus-Linguistics and the analytical framework of Cultural Linguistics to unpack cultural metaphors, cultural categories and cultural schemas associated with human body part terms in the Bible. The study concludes that this Corpus-Cultural analysis approach contributes to a greater depth of understanding of Holy texts.
