Statement of Support
"I fully support the establishment of a Christian University in Australia and the Sunshine Coast specifically as my research studied the proliferation of Christian schooling in the last 2 decades in this area. It would be a natural progression to have a Christian university here when there is so many students graduating from Christian colleges. More importantly it would serve students with disabilities to have teachers with theological understanding of disability and a practical approach to educate these students based on God's love."
Professional Biography
Dr David Mercer provides tutoring and consultation for adults and school age children across all school subjects, with a particular focus on students with learning difficulties throughout the Sunshine Coast.
David has his Masters in Special Education and a PhD focusing on the education of students with disabilities in regional independent schools. He is a highly experienced professional providing complete tutoring services for those in need, and particularly for those with learning difficulties.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, David has the knowledge, experience and qualifications to support all students in their studies, no matter the level of difficulty.
David has also worked in several schools in Learning Support and Special Education faculties, and is well versed in all aspects of tutoring and learning support.
