The UNET Story
Universal Education and Training (UNET) is a purpose-driven organization founded by Paul Truasheim, a visionary leader with over four decades of experience in education and training. Since 2000, UNET has been delivering accredited training programs with a mission to create global impact through transformative education.
As a for-purpose entity, UNET integrates its social mission throughout its business model. The organization's core purpose is to empower individuals and communities worldwide through accessible, high-quality education that fosters personal growth, professional development, and positive societal change.
UNET's for-purpose approach is reflected in its structure as a not-for-profit organization with Tax Deductible Gift Recipient Status for education purposes. This status enables UNET to channel resources directly into educational initiatives, scholarships, and infrastructure development, maximizing its social impact.
As the ultimate holding company of Queensland Christian University Ltd, UNET is working towards establishing a fully accredited Christian university in Australia. This initiative, promoted through ChristianUniversityforAustralia.org.au, aims to create a unique institution to serve Australia, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond with a combination of academic excellence with Christian values, preparing graduates to make meaningful contributions to society on a global scale.
Through these endeavours, Paul and UNET are committed to reshaping the landscape of higher education, creating a model that prioritizes purpose alongside academic achievement, and fostering a new generation of leaders dedicated to making a positive impact worldwide.
