Statement of Support

"I am very much in support of establishing a Christian University in the CBD at Maroochydore in the near future. This is such a wonderful idea and with Paul Truasheim leading this, I am in full support for this initiative. I have taught with Paul in the high school at Nambour Christian College for at least 12 years that I can remember and I fully support Paul and his team as they seek to realise this project."

Professional Biography

Rodney has been teaching high school in Queensland for more than fourty-two years, in both the state and private sector. In his professionalism and expertise, Rodney has been appointed the Head of Department for both Maths and Science on three separate occasions. Rodney has been with Nambour Christian College for over twenty-two years, and is their Head of Department for Maths. Along with this he has been the Chair of the Sunshine Coast Maths C Panel for eight years.

Rodney holds a Bachelor of Science, a Diploma of Education and a Master in Education. Rodney has also accompanied Nambour Christian College’s students on three mission trips; twice to Fiji and once to Thailand.
