Statement of Support
“Simply put, the idea of a Christian university is both novel and intrinsic. It is a challenge to a status quo that would prefer to see a faith in Christ quietly tucked away inside churches and homes. The reality though is that a faith in Christ does, and must engage in meaningful ways with society. This means that the spirit of inquiry, pursuit of truth, and passion for justice inherent in following Christ has also intersected with education to produce the formation of universities in the past.
What we recognise with the emergence of this bold project is that a Christian university can and will have the power to inspire a generation of change agents to design creative solutions for our world’s future. In a world looking for excellence delivered with humility, students raised in such an environment will simply lead by their service. I eagerly support this endeavour!”
