Statement of Support
I whole-heartedly support this vision. Our children, of great value to us, need a world-class fully-equipped Christian University. Both as a safer environment to learn and mature, but also to be shaped and transformed into Christian leaders of this nation and beyond; to function and work in the top echelons of government, medicine, law, humanities etc.; to be given an environment that breaks known bounds and become firsts and champions in their lifetime; whilst throughout their education personally experiencing God as their faith is nurtured and encouraged to grown exponentially.
Professional Biography
Sheeree is a founding member of the QCU Board of Governors. She stands with her husband Paul in having helped to bring the ChristianUniversityforAustralia.org.au initiative into being from its conception.
Sheeree’s life experience has involved: raising a family of four children with whom she enjoys an ongoing close relationship as they continue their lives as adults; being a grandmother of a growing clan of grandchildren who occupy a vital part of her life; leadership and service in church ministry; involvement in international Christians missions service overseas; excellence in academic studies exhibited by graduating as a mature age student from university studies with distinction as a health professional; a decade of service as a nurse within hospital surgeries, wards and general practice clinics; and occupying a position as a board member and co-manager of a non-profit education organisation over many years.
Sheeree’s desire and passion for Christ’s love, grace and transforming power to be demonstrated through a world class Christian higher education provider is representative of the same inspiration in the hearts and minds of Christians throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region who seek to see this kind of institution established for this generation and those yet to come.
